Game in slow motion — halp

Since the last patch, the game will sometimes slow down drastically. I’m not talking about frame drops or internet lag, but it plays as if time was slowed, and then time accelerates and my character will run like the Flash to make up for lost time.
It is quite a new problem and makes the game hard to play. I notice my computer makes a lot of noise when it happens. I have not had this problem for my first 100 hours of play, but perhaps the patch has provoked this.

Any workaround? Perhaps configuration element I can lower?
It only occurs in endgame areas (maps, hideout, endgame town)

Enable full performance graphs in options, show them with F1 button, watch what spikes on graphs when it happens and you will have your answer

the issue of OP is 100% server issue.

No spikes at all, at least none I can humanly measure looking at the performance overlay. I am inclined to believe other posters saying it is a server problem.

You should see network latency there. If its connection issue for whatever reason it will show there. I started having spikes too after last patch up to 300ms, mostly in trials.

This exact slow motion issue is also happening on PS5 pro console . For me it’s not Desync . I never die cause both my character and all mobs are running in slow motion . I was on a Level 8 with three breaches. Will do some more testing if it’s maybe related to map nodes with multiple affixes .

the slow motion and freezes and crashes are from the update. Lots of people have been talking about it. There is suppose to be a new update in a few days MAYBE that will address the issues. I for one have been crashing and freezing more since the update.

This server issue isn't fun in a punishing game where I've aced trails all day and can't get my 3rd ascendancy. I'll try again in the morning with less people on.
