How many hundreds of thousands of players will quit due to Ascendancy trials.
Several hundred thousand easy. Just quit myself. This isn't fun. Fun factor 0. No one is enjoying this. NO ONE. GGG what were you thinking?!?!?! Something HATED in PoE1 forced onto us in poe2. Terrible development went into this game. Yikes!

Probably not hundreds of thousands, but I can see it being in the thousands.

Imagine doing it every 3 months or so, when a new league comes...

My guess is probably 300k of EA. On Steam, probably 500k first year of release. 190k active users over 1.5 year after that, with 90-110k returning to PoE1.

Cool. Good thing this is EA then.

While I understand that Ascending should be a right of passage, the execution fell short. It's really as simple as that. It's overtuned and unfun, even if conceptually, you play the sekema trials to get relics to build resistance, but chaos is literally luck of the draw if your run is bricked or not.

Pushing on an 80 monk in t10 when im farming, as much as I might enjoy my 3&4 ascension, i haven't felt like i need them. I have what I need for sustain with 1&2

Well since the active playercount hasn't really dropped, it looks like almost no one.

It's okay if the game isn't for you. Try Hello Kitty Adventure Island maybe?

Well, better check your sources, sir. During the first week, the average player count on Steam was around 450k. By now it's around 300k. That's a 33% loss in one week. Seems pretty substantial to me. The game doesn't even reach 400 at peak hours anymore, when it was constantly above that number the first week.

So, yes, a lot of players have quit. And GGG should look into this rather than only listening to white knights because the numbers drop every day a little more.

What's most deceiving from my point of view is the damn collision with obstacle (when you roll dodge and get stuck on the boss that push you while he's walking), can we make it so we can go trough it and doesnt get stuck.

And the fact you cant use 2 time the same support gem on 2 different skill gem. What's the point ?!

That's actually pretty decent I expected it to be way worse tbh.

Yup the fanboys that are willingly blind to the obvious problems this game has are going to kill it...

Actualy most part of community enjoying the change and more methodical way to play aRPG game that have been inspired by souls likes.

not everyone want to be over-stimulated and we likes slower and more skilled combat and less loot but more meaningful loot.

problem is - end game is to fast and it's even faster than poe 1. With my 10 years of experience in poe 1 i can clearly say i love and hate poe 1 and i want to left poe 1 behind for sake of slower and more skilled/methodical poe 2.

but.. poe 2 and end game is just copy of poe 2 and it's loses it's identity finnaly being for no-one.
As dopamine addicted people likes fast end game
and people who loved that core of poe 2 - don't have it in end-game.
