what kind of f…ed up accound system is this? how am i able to login later?

https://www.pathofexile.com/
First, like Cairn said above, you need to go to the path of exile official website and log in with your steam credentials if you're not logged in already.
Once you go through the process of the log in, you will need to go to your account, and when you're in your account, on the right side of the window you will have multiple settings. To link your accounts go to:
1. manage account
2. scroll down where it says secondary login, you will see options for steam (yo should be logged in there), Epic games, Sony and Microsoft.
3. If you have a playstation go there and click on connect, if you have an Xbox, go there and click on connect.
4. you will be asked to log in to your PSN/Microsoft Xbox account.
5. Once you are logged in, you will see a message where GGG will have sent you an email (associated to the accounts) that will have a link where if you click on it, you will have a chance to confirm if you want to link those accounts to your POE account. (Think this through as it is a permanent linking).
Once that is done, you will have successfully linked your accounts.
Now, to access your other accounts on the game on the console, you will need to run the game on your console, log in to your account normally. Now, on the top left side of the character selection screen you will see your current account and an option to drop down a menu using R3 (pressing down on the right thumbstick). Do that and it will show you the other accounts that are linked. Choose the steam account, and you will now be able to play with your steam POE 2 character on your console.
I hope this helps.
PS. I tried to play on console and depending on your build, performance might be rough. PC all the way, but, I don't judge, enjoy the game where ever you like.
yea thats exactly what i did, but the mail never reached me…
it was just for convinience playing it also on console.
atm the performance on the series x is pretty good, but im not far in the game.
on pc my problem is, that the game brings my gpu to boil…in the most games, 1440p max settings uncapped fps, im around 70-80degrees.
but in poe2, max settings uncapped fps at ~180fps i get 110degrees…
thats one of the reasons i want to play on console
I know it's off topic, but if your components are going over 100c, there's a massive problem with the cooling and you should probably have that fixed before your fry your components permanently
its just in poe2
i can play bo6, maxed out at ~120-140 fps at 70-85 degrees
and also not anymore. i capped the frames at 85 now im pretty consistent at 80-85 degrees.
