NO MAP DEVICE!!! Died in HC maping and now i cant join with same character in softcore.

Barely managed to reach maps in hardcore but that didnt end well.
i died after like 15-20 maps so i decided to just play in softcore to check the "end game" but there is no map device in ziggurat refuge.

-I tried changing instances.
-logging off and on.
-restarting the game.
-Checked integrity of the files.
-Tried ti kill last boss again in softcore but it did not work eather.

I even asked for help from someone to open a portal for a hideout unlock so i can maybe use it in my hideout and still there is no map device to use.

i think my quest progression got **** up in smoe way after dying in hardcore and propably got messed up in some waird way.

Try creating a new character in hardcore, log back to character select screen and use the league migration feature to migrate all to Standard. This means you shift any progress from hardcore to standard, including stash, characters etc, but might be worth a try.

Same bug here. Died in a map in hcssf, was going to continue in scssf, but map device doesn't active.

Have any of you run a character up to that point in SC yet? If not, it might be linked to some quest that's league-bound like how the salvage bench unlock is once-per-league. You may end up needing to reach mapping with an alt that starts in SC so it unlocks it for that league.

Disclaimer: This is just a guess. I could be wrong and you get to mapping in SC and it still doesn't work on the formerly-HC character.

If you go into your hideout, can you place a map device ?

The only one thing that can fix the issue - you need to pass through 6 acts to the map machine on another character, then after that your progress on maps restart and you need to dig up from 1st maps, and map machine allows you to do that on characther which lost HC on Endgame state.

I have the same issue, the mapdevice is in the hideout however i cannot use it.
