That's literally how that works. Linking does not magically give your second account all items and MTX.

When you link accounts, they're not merged into one, but rather they give you an easy way to swap between them in the game.. You have two accounts on the same client and can swap from one to another on the character menu.

So giving GGG's announcement, you can only get a MTX transfer if it was from console to PC, and only once.. And upon doing so, you will lose them on console.

Anyways that makes absolutely no sense - also this is information that should have been put into the store at purchse - especially when most information and even buying an account wasnt possible on release on their poe-site since the site was offline for a day ...

Well we will see - in the worst case i will refund everything - the main issue still is that support doesnt seem to work at all at the moment.


I mean honestly can you name any reason why someone would even want to have 2 sepparate accounts of the game? Especially when MTs are pretty expensive?

The reason I did it was to have the ability to login to my steam poe account with my email address instead of always relying on steam authentication.

So I'm glad there is such an linking ability.

Actually after linking my accounts I can see my MTX from the poe client (not usable yet) and use my premium tabs.
