Portion of map disconnected from the rest of the map (???)

Im doing a T7 map, and a portion of the map that contains the last rare/boss for completion AND my expedition are in an area that has no access to it. I know there are switches or levers in other maps, but ive been here for over 30 mins NOT being able to find either. Has anyone else dealt with this? This seems to be a bug with map generation.

I have only seen that when there is a door or portal to the boss arena. But sounds like a bug when you have searched the map for 30 min already^^

I thought the same thing, but this map didn't have a map boss, just expedition.

Realizing this post is old, but i just ran into this issue for the first time on a "DECAY" map. It has a boss. and a delirium. Completed the delirium, but cannot jump across the gap of water to get to the other side where i can definitely see unexplored areas. No switches, No doors. What a drag.
