Best class for beginner?
I'm new to the genre and I don't wanna struggle/ another question: should I wait for a future patch to fix important stuff or start now?

dont give up :) and dont try out a melee klass first ^^ they are a little bit harder from the start.
the difficult part is the expirience that you lack. after a few houers it will be done and you can handle it.
trust your brain

Stay away from melee classes

Why stay away from melee? My first character was minion witch, second melee sorceress. And sorceress was easier. If you want to play as melee - at first grab 1h and shield and stun build-up nodes. Without shield it's much harder and stun is very powerful.

Yeah, if you don't want to struggle and you're new to the genre, I'd just skip it. This is not an average chill arpg. Nvm i see you already bought it. Play ranger. Go lightning.

Imho ranger. I beat first 3 acts with just autoattack. But as noob, you will cry no matter what you play, i would go for PoE1 as it has much easier difficulty curve. PoE2 is basicaly peak difficultx at beginning and goes down as you progress.

People often say melee is hard but having 60%+ phys damage reduction is huge when other classes hope to use evasion or try to stack energy shield. You also get more str/hp.

easiest to play is witch, archer, mercenary, monk in that order ...
if you want you can easily turn monk into summoner (witch) as well :)

Generally in ARPGs ranged builds have an easier time when compared to melee builds, and further still instant cast ranged build have an easier time than builds that require you to stand still/slow down to cast/attack. The obvious reasons for this are:
a) you are further from the danger
b) you are always able to move away from the danger

That said I would personally recommend against trying out PoE2 rite now if you are looking for a more relaxed and casual playing experience. The game is missing quite a few features and skills and is in a relatively rough spot at the moment (in my opinion). I would wait until its fully released if I were in your shoes.

Instead I would suggest checking out PoE1 (its free!). There are tons of guides available for pretty much any sort of build you could ask for. There are some drastic feature changes between PoE1 and PoE2 but the core gameplay experience will be the same.

But the game is the hardest at beginning where you have no armor and you die mostly to elemental damage. Anything ranged is easier than anything melee. No matter how broken warriors or monks become later, act 1 is true pain.

also, keep your 300 coins and wait for a stash tab sale which ggg does every 2nd weekend. if you enjoy the game you will want a few stash tabs.
