Other Trees in Atlas

How do we get Points for the other Trees in the Atlas like Breech for example..
i did a lot of them but get no point at all..

Mouse over the 0/10 points at bottom of minitrees...

If you mouse over the tree description it tells you. It is the bosses associated with the mechanic, so for breach you need 200 splinters to craft key and open the abyss with said key. Kill boss, get points. Easiest way is to bump precursor tablet drop rates and just go for towers, insert tablet, do the maps with mechanics. I think all of them are lv80+ (T15).

I got a Vanquisher's Book of Knowledge dropped the other day in the boss map that can be used to put points in other trees.
I only saw it once, so it's a rare drop. So it's guaranteed to drop when defeated a boss in lvl79+ map it seems.

I use a controller, and I wasn't aware of this until now, lol!

That's weird, I just defeated a lvl79 Boss Zeko in the T15 map, and yet I gained no map boss skill point.
Is that a bug, or is the skill book random but not a guaranteed drop?
