I'm fairly new to POE but from there point of view based on how the system is... i think the problem is like when i put an item for sale maybe it was too low or lots of people wanted it i got like 100's of invites all at once i couldn't even message the person or invite them because so many were requesting to buy in whisper chat. So they could be spammed a lot and having to try and pick someone if they can. It crazy laggy too with all messages coming it. lol first time trading.

Thats Ive always done SSF, cuts all that bs out!

Trading would be best with an in game auction house like the currency, hopefully they change this!

Just an NPC trader would be fine.

That way you are not dependent on other players.

They should also have an item sale/transaction history.

the games does a very poor job of even telling you how system work or that they even exist. Most of the player base is unaware of the trade site built into the game and most are unaware about the currency exchange. Therefore people are buying divine orbs from noobs and reselling them for instant profit. Its wild and absurd.

Last, how can they have the currency exchange built in, but I have to use their website to trade items?

there should really just be an auction house.

I'm even Direct Whispering the Item I want at the bottom of the List that is selling for 3 Exalted Orbs instead of 1 and I'm still not getting any responses on that either.

Overpaying is not helping either. No one responds. I even Whispered I'd pay an extra Exalt. Still nothing.
