About the Nerfs
When will the nerfs stop so I can finally start playing POE2?

This seems to be a real issue for many players. You start to enjoy your build, and then a patch nerfs it, t’s not fun at all. At least I haven’t bought early access yet, so I’m just waiting for the nerf patches to end.

The game fully release in 6 months at the least, and at top 12 months. Those nerfs are not impacting when you get to play for free.

Those nerf patches are not ending if things are over tuned.

That's what ea is for. Better to get the balance issues in a no season and q.0 version of the game. You can't handle it then don't play ea..

Its not an issue for many players, its an issue for idiots who dont understand what an early access is and for people who cant think for themself and just copy builds.

If you are one of these people, then you shouldnt play PoE 2 at all. Not only will there be more balance changes during EA, but there will also balance changes after the game released.

Also u aint paying to play they give u 300 points to use at the store which is what 30 dollars cost to get 300 points.

it does impact the fun, I don't want to deal with a nerfed build, seems like the EA has this issue

Balancing is important yes but even blizzards gets this right... even if somethings is just straight up broke they leave till the next season. You dont balance ♥♥♥♥ mid season. Who cares if somethings is broken and people are abusing it, this is primarily a single player game. Them balancing mid season is gonna hurt it more than fix it. People using those builds are not complaining and if your complaining about someone elses build even though it has minimal impact on you as a player is concerning.

The longterm health of the game should take priority over your individual needs. GGG rarely does major nerfs during leagues unless absolutely nessicary. EA.....you need to mentally prepared yourself that it's only function is to make the game better..

EA is for testing, how do you test anything optimally if you can't have any access to testing?

When they gut a build, they should refund all points.

Points should cost minimum amount of gold.

Currently EA is a money grab, they offer nothing to players to test, they will instantly hotfix a skill that does too much damage, and nothing to fix low performing anything. They said they were going to reduce respec fee 40-50%, but it's like 8%

They don't really want people to poke holes in the game.

And if you had informed yourself properly, you would know that the devs are also planning for balance changes before a new league starts and not in the middle of the league. So i am not sure what you are talking about. Because right now, we are not in any league, we are in EA and i will remind you once: This isnt the finished game! This is literally testing. They gave us the opportunity to play half the game and test it out, because millions of players will always find more problems than 10 professional game testers.

So.. you consider EA an season or what? When do you consider it to be the right time to adjust the balance of the game? People will always cry when there are nerfs.. doesnt matter when or what. Even the most tiny things will get people to cry.

Also naming blizzard in regards to "even they get this right" while they just released their expansion based on FOMO because the spiritborn is 100 times stronger than everything else is kinda funny.

Blizzards sole balancing philosphy is based around fear of missing out.. so come on.

I don't understand this attitude, the game is actually very forgiving about swapping stuff around to improve builds.

You really just ignored all the buffs to focus on the nerfs. Honestly maybe you shouldn't come back to POE 2
Everlove Dec 18, 2024 @ 6:26am
just be a warrior, where you already start out nerfed. EZ PZ

things will get nerfed, nerfed things will be buffed or changed multiple times over the course of EA, not even all of the games content is even out yet so things are likely to be changed again when they are added. So if your really this worried then i say wait a year when the full release happens, however in my opinion caring about nerfs to the point you can't allow yourself to have fun and try things you wouldn't normally do then your wasting your time
