absolutely not...im penetrating anyway
In PoE1 you can penetrate enemy resistances below 0%.
In PoE2, you can only go to 0%, so a little pen is good, but you don't want to much. Don't stack it like in PoE1.
But always get consent first. Otherwise your friends will turn into enemies. And then you can't penetrate them anymore.
I recommend igniting them first, then prime them for penetration by building-up stun so they can't move.
If it's your first time running this build, then use a protection spell.
Better safe than sorry.
Ah yes. Never forget proper foreplay prior to applying penetration.
Resistances can go into the negative....exposure, curses.
You can't penetrate below 0 anymore. If you have 80 ele pen, and the monster is at +5...you're only doing 5 pen.
I use unleash support gem. The longer I hold it in, the more that comes out when I break the seal. Seriously though, I do love that support gem. really suits my playstyle in many builds.
