I'm Quitting POE 2 Because Of Poor Frustrating Boss Design

1. I've completed Elden Ring 4 times with 3 different builds and 2 additional end game runs and the expansion. So I know what complex boss fights are.

2. POE 2 is a great groundbreaking AARPG with nice difficulty and progression, and challenging, interesting mini bosses along the way.

3. The great experience and potential of the game is utterly ruined by inane, time consuming, boring and otherwise ridiculous main boss fights. They are not reasonable. The game is ruined by this.

The bosses are fine to keep, but I ain't playing the game in it's current state. There is clearly not enough drops to enjoyably build and farm so that you can reasonably defeat them. You shouldn't have to spend hours and hours researching spread sheets for perfect skill builds and an additional hours and hours farming for drops to defeat them. Also, even if you die a few times figuring them out, that can be challenging and fun, but when you have to fight for 10 minutes over and over and over on seemingly never ending circular attacks trying to wear them down. That is simply not fun.

4. POE seems to have lost it's way as to the kind of game it should be. It has been said before, If I want to play Elden Ring with brilliant design and epic boss encounters I will. I don't want that in an AARPG. It doesn't need to be to easy like other AARPG's can be, but it should be enjoyable, and it is, except for again, the frustrating boss stats and design.

If you don't want this style of ARPG, look for another ARPG. Sorry but that's how it is, the details, the balancing, these sorts of things are up for debate and subject to change. The whole style of the game? That's set in stone.

Also, it doesn't matter how many times you cleared Elden Ring, I don't care if you're Let Me Solo Her, that has no bearing on your ability (or lack of) in POE2. And believe me, you do lack ability in POE2, because not a single one of the bosses require any great length of time spent on a single attempt.

And lastly, how utterly arrogant do you have to be to think that you're the arbiter of what kind of game POE "should" be? I think this is all a problem of mindset, you've come along high on your own farts from Elden Ring and think you're God's gift to gaming, then when you fall flat at the slightest challenge (and it is only a slight challenge, none of the POE2 bosses are anything I'd call "difficult" compared to a Fromsoft boss) you automatically blame the game rather than look inwards. Time for a bit of introspection bud, if you're taking 10+ minutes to kill a boss, you're doing the equivalent of a fists-only run on Elden Ring.

I do the agree the bosses are realy hard, Just today i fougth the act 1 boss i died more then 10 times but i finaly got him alone, i also have to say that gearing and the crafting is something you realy need to learn how to use in POE if you have no clue what you are doing and you just hope for items to drop and you dont do any crafting what so ever and you still complain then sorry POE2 is not for you.

Its weird. I dropped act1 boss first time around. Then get one shotted by one of those three bosses in act 2. Like 10 times lol. Just got to go grind up a level or 2
