I have 600hp and 35% armor. (merc). He does basically no damage to me with his attacks, yet his fastest attack, the homing knife thrust keeps one-shotting me over and over again. There's no place safe on the tiny are from it, it usually comes from outside the screen and has a weird hitbox where it deals damage before it even hits me. Every other attack I can dodge or tank, no problem, but that single thrust with no tell is impossible for me.

Any tips?

you can avoid almost all attacks when you stand between him and his empty hand. tested on warrior

That actually worked. Had to glue myself to his chest and all I needed to avoid were the fireballs he shoots when switching places. and some of his fist slams and adds. I actually once even bugged out of the platform and ended up inside him for a good while and could keep shooting before I bounced back onto the platform.

This boss def need a few tweaks, bring the field back a bit because he's covered by the health bar once he is to your left. His falling rocks also need some sorta of indicator where they are falling because as is there is nothing to queue the player in. So far not a fan of this boss design and play wise. Lot of factors that are out of the players control.

Falling rocks have an indicator tho, in fact everything that falls has, be it rock, lightning or flame meteor. It may not be as visible as other, especialy on certain ground tiles, but everything is telegraphed (in case of rocks its wind blowing away from impact zone)

Thank. You. Was getting pretty frustrated before reading your post, then cheesed him to death first try after your advice. Prefer not to go that route, but worth it for this boss. Thanks again.

Thats what he gets for having wonky hitboxes :chaos: , dont feel bad. ;D
With ranged classes he is not difficult imo, but melee monk and warrior have to be close to that hand anyway..
