Please add a button to open the Gemcutting Menu without needing a Gem
Seems like there is no button that does this. Currently you can only see the respective Gemcutting menu when opening an uncut gem.

I would like to have a button that opens the Gemcutting menu and let's me see Skill, Support and Persistant Skill gems so I can plan out builds better.

This system is still a huge step up from POE1 so I appreciate where we're at, but it seems like a missing option.

Please and thank you.

Not the Skills menu, the Gem cutting menu, which lets you look at all the skills available. That way you can plan ahead.

As Tachyon said, the G button brings up your skill panel where you slot the skills you've already engraved. I want a button for the menu where you engrave the skills, support skills and spirit skills and any others. I'd like to be able to at any time open those menus and see the options available to me or ones I'm close to rather than having to have a gem to see the respective menus.

I don't like having to keep 3 gems in my stash simply to see a menu.

Count me in too! I'd love a button to access every gem skills in the game to plan out builds better.

Making them tabbed to the gem slotting menu would probably be a good place for them. Hit G to pull up the menu of what you have equipped, then click the tabs to see what you could do instead.
I am adding my voice to this as well, I accidentally closed the page without 'slotting' the skill into my skill page and now I cannot access that skill until I find another gem.
also add preview even if the skill still grayed out.

The skill gem you 'cut' will be either in your inventory or your stash, depending on where you clicked on on the uncut gem.

It's now the 3rd month of 2025 and this still hasn't been fixed, and key pickup still doesn't work so Unearth is still bugged when it's bound to Left Click when trying to pick up items. Chop-chop Grinding Gear, your most expensive Supporter Pack doesn't cost nearly $500 for you all to take this long fixing simple oversights.
Ok, fair enough - but I have a question.

How often do you find yourself without a single skill and support gem?

1st and 2nd character were always waiting for more gems for me, and this would likely be about the same experience for a fresh league if they haven't changed drop rates by then. Persistent gems never stopped being rough, but you make up for it with better hand me down gear. I play ssf. Even day 1 of a new league you'd probably be able to trade for a skill/support gem no problem.

To me it's not the lack of gems, it's the awkwardness of needing to carry an item just to view a menu that is a crucial part of building your character. I feel like that should be accessible the same way you view the talent tree etc. Gems are plentiful so I get what you're saying, but I don't think it's a big ask to make the menus in the game accessible via a button press rather than an item.

I don't want to have to hold onto 3 different gems just to view a menu for skills/passives etc. and it just wouldn't feel good for new players to know that you need to hold onto gems just to view those menus. It feels clunky and like an oversight rather than a deliberate choice.
