What? You can make as many copies as you want. The interface migh not allow you to make one only if you have 1 copy already equiped. Just throw it into bag and make another copy.

im not the only one who swapped weapons with a gem on it and found out they are gone forever and cant make another one in the interface

OH people OP is talking about runes, they mentioned swapping gear.

If you actually read the tooltips it tells you runes are single use and not recoverable, so farm up areas for more.

No you mentioned gear, thats runes. You can get support gems back anytime.

Just farm up. literally pick an area you like and farm it for drops.
From this point I'm not going to continue to try to make sense of what you mean, just go farm an area and it will all become clear you didn't need to make this thread.

What's keeping you from taking one of the many uncut support gems in your stash and create the support gem you want yourself?

Cept there is, you can grind areas and create duplicates of support gems. Just only use one copy of them at a time.
