Come on Devs, Bosses are WAY TO TOUGH.

20 plus attempts on King of Mists, never even got close. Executioner, well over 15 attempts and never got it below 50%. My char barely moves, and no matter what I do, ONE SHOT DEATH.

I am an older player. Why do you devs make this so tough on us older players. Maybe you like bad posts. After so many attempts, the monster, boss, whatever, needs to be down scaled.

At this rate, I WILL NEVER SEE ACT 2.

Since last friday, I have been stuck in ACT 1. Cannot get the Spirit thing from King of Mists. Witch without any spirit, useless. Cannot beat the Executioner to move to Act 2.

Again, at some point, you will lose players. I am very close, DEVS. I have already spoken with several people that have already quit. Do you think you will get good reviews. There is no way, for a slow, old, not able to move their fingers well, and in the case of these bosses, for 45 MINUTES. Only to lose, and have to start ALL OVER.

Bring back the saved state mechanic for bosses, at least in POE 1, after being killed 20 times, I was still knocking the boss down a little each time. had a chance. Now, it is START OVER each time, and run in circles dodging for 15, 20, 35 minutes only to inevitably, LOSE.

Think about us older gamers. The ones that will never see END GAME, EVER, EVER, EVER. Cannot even see Act 2.

In POE 1, I have never seen ACT 10. There is a point, where the difficulty needs to be adjusted. Never winning, is one of them.

When the Steam Achievements are telling you that only 16% of the players have killed King of Mists, or, 24% have killed the executioner. This tells me that 76% of the players never got out of ACT 1.

How many updates in the last several days, and each time, my char gets worse. Slower. Less damage. Less effective. I am really having a hard time not swearing and thinking the devs hate us. Cater to the fast gamers. Not the ones that will spend the money.

Again, very close to joining all the other people that have already called it quits for this game.

You're doing something wrong. I'm not good at these type of games and I beat them 1st time. The game is not that hard.

I am new to poe, and even at first when I had no clue what I was doing I found the bosses to be a bit of a challenge but fair and fun. Most bosses killed me once or twice, some took 5 or so tries. Now that I've figured some things out, I am killing nearly all the bosses in like 30 seconds. Maybe the problem isn't with the bosses, it's with your lack of understanding with the game. So instead of calling for nerfs, maybe tell people what class and build you're playing and ask for some advice.

Maybe you need someone to help you along in multiplayer and find a build that lets you stick to the back out of harms way to a degree.

And with all 3 those Classes I could face tank 4 or 5 hits from a Boss AND comfortably bring down Health Bars.

Only Boss had me sweating as all 3 classes was Djinn.

Sounds like you are just smashing buttons hoping for the best. You need to learn boss mechanics in order to achieve victory. Stay sane exile!

King of the mists is difficult but really should not take you more than like a handful of tries. Even with a monk build I'm putting 0 optimization in and just vibes it only took me 3 tries. It is quite literally a skill issue

Actually, you are. For a F2P game like this, someone who only plays one hour a week is far less needed than someone who's going to play relentlessly every day, and buy the new shiny mtx over and over again.

If not able to take down first boss, go over the build, upgrade gems, get better gear and get frost res. It's not that hard really.

There are no achivements yet, do not know what you are on about.

It is souls like. Dieing for 20 numbers is not that weird but most important is do you change your build or gear? Do you grind? Or you just try it for dont know how many times even thouh you know its not going to work? Thats insanity.

Do you deal no damage? Check your weapon. Is your gem is bad? Always have some spare uncut skill gem dont use all. Always have some spare gold to respec either. This is basic game knowledge.

Do you learn boss move? One basic strategy is that roll towards the back of the enemy, do a quick 2 hit or 1 heavy hit follow by roll again. The next step is check what move he do, did he do aoe or he continue melee again if he continue melee again just roll towards his back again. This works for executioner and huge majority of bosses. This is basic dark souls strategy.

Dont get greedy. Dont ever bother trying to burst through bosses with max dps unless you use those infinite proc build or 1 hit bonker build or spam arrow and kill him in 10s build. If you use average build, this game is balance towards you chip off his health slowly. Even game journalist can beat the final act 1 boss. This is not even as hard as sekiro or elden ring or wukong.
