but if i have a mace in one hand and the staff in the other, than i guess it will work right?
depends on the staff, it won't work on mage staves, only monk staves. And you'll need to get the passive to wield 2 handed weapons in one hand for that.
Also why would you slot a weapon if you don't use any skill for it. The game actually has a feature to be able to switch both sets depending on what skill you use and even have different skill trees for it.
I play as a warrior and basically only use 5 skills. i thought having an extra weapon on my back with stats could give me a boost. i guess not. i will go for dual wielding two handed maces tho, just a couple of levels and i'm there.
but having a third weapon on the back and getting its stats/boosts from would be awesome.
