How to link PoE account with steam account?

I want to buy into the EA but I wanna keep my account from the oficial website but Im not sure how to do so.

If you already have an existing PoE account, when you sign in go to your account management and Manage Connections.

If you buy the game on Steam, it'll give you access on your linked PoE account and auto-add the Steam client to your library.
If you buy the game on the PoE site, it'll give you a Steam key to activate the client on Steam.
You can also still play the standalone with both options if you prefer that.

When you open the game and login for the first time you have two options, create an account or link account.

You can also link from the website as others said.
