But death is just a new beginning, arise from the ashes stronger, faster, better.
there aren't many posts complaining about the difficulty
Any game where you receive damage instead of getting one shot.
Evol is level 0 on steam and also private profile.
Dont trust this guy and block.
Every game you stated didn't have hardcore unless you imposed some kind of ironman rule on yourself, and I highly doubt you did so when you first bought and played it.
So I don't get what your point is. Yes you're gonna get curbed alot in this game, and your survival is going to rely on your knowledge of mechanics and meta.
So no I wouldn't recommend hardcore on a first try if you are expecting a smooth experience.
I play hardcore on most games but i went to standard mode after quite a few deaths till i learn the game some more. You will die, id say early on also. best to use a infinite life character for your first run or so.
First char died at level 16
Currently on my second at level 25, act 2
I normally love hardcore mode but I'm having a hard time enjoying this one. Mainly because 99% of the time the game is a cakewalk, then all of a sudden something hits you super hard and almost one shots you. Then the bosses all have abilities that may one shot you, while the rest of the boss is super easy. This weird pacing leaves you not on the edge of your seat, and instead frustrated that difficulty just came out of the blue.
