Attack Area vs Area Damage

What the heck is the difference between these 2 perks?
Attack Area: increases area of effect for attacks
Area Damage: increases attack area damage

Someone please break this down and explain to me in more detail how these would work differently with different skills???

Attack area is the AOE range in which it can hit something, and since it's attack area it should only apply to attacks, not to spells. And area dmg is a dmg bonus that gets applied to skills that deal dmg in an area, or in more technical terms, it's a dmg buff that gets applied to skill gems with the area tag, including both, attacks and spells.

first means the area for the aoe attack is increased
second means the damage of aoe attack is increased

It's pretty self explanatory really, first makes area bigger second makes damage numbers bigger
