Trial of Sekhemas is garbage

This honour mechanic needs a rework, do you not want melee characters to have fun?

Yeah, for melee characters i tmight be better to avoid that trial and do the trial of Chao sinstead. Ultimatum should be way easier than Sanctum fo rmelee characters since it actually allows you to get hit. Luckily the game doesn't force you to do a specific trial, even though they sadly did not yet add the third trial, which comes in the unreleased acts.

Surely they will rework it somehow before the full release. Not many people seem to like it.
And in the Poe forum the sentiment is the same, GGG surely already took notice because it was and is a hot topic

it geniunely feels like a twisted joke. I decide to switch to a melee build and just finished setting it up then the game throws me a gauntlet that is basically impossible to do melee. This completely killed my flow with this game, I am beyond pissed rn, i gotta take 5 and touch grass

I don't even think the honor is difficult. I've beaten it on a ranged class (witch) and a melee class (monk). The problem I have with it is that it just forces melee characters to play in a very lame way.

I'm a merc, and as everyone knows it's much easier as a ranged, but I still don't like it. It's a crappy rogue-like. It's just not fun with all the extreme modifiers. Want nothing to do with it and yet, it's mandatory. Worst part of the game so far.

Could not agree more.
The 3rd trial is absolute garbage.
4.6k honor, 67% honor resist. Yet the lame ass scorpion 1 shot 100% of your honor.
That is when 12 levels above the trial level.

Could be fixed by actually giving us time to attack it to get alignments to proc to stun ir or whatever, but sadly that is not the case, it constantly go under ground and jump around, only letting you get a few hits in, for then to jump around like a moron again and let your alignment buildup fall off again.

Running T12-14 maps as it was a level one map, yet this lame level 67 trial is still incomplete after maybe 30+ attempts with every attempt getting 1 shot by the last boss (even with full honor)

Imo, trials are not worth the effort right now, you will be blasting though endgame without trouble before you even get to complete them, which makes them a complete waste and rather pointless to get, since you already are running the hardest content the game has to offer at the moment.

yeah,, 4th attempt at this and dead at final boss. and i realized i am not having fun in the entire sekemas area. find the exit.... click on crystals... have my honor torn away just when i finished with all the mundane time sinks it took me to get there. if this is what the game is im not interested.

i lost a 3º trial 1 room before 3º boss because they give me a random debuff that removed 4k of my energy shield, then i lost 5k of honour at same time and that was the final room prize, i was left with 1k hp and 900 honour, 2 hit and i died, almost uninstalled the game

This part of this Game is realy ♥♥♥♥! Its boring and having nothing to do with skill....
Secound attempt to get it.... im level 80 and have not the 5.6th point... its boring, and make no fun! you can fast an hour of time, make everthing correct and then rng fisting you... no this not a good game desing....

and im playing ranger... no i dont wast my time with this bouring ♥♥♥♥.... with this slot machine mechanik...
