Gold cost to respect passive skill tree nodes

EDIT: I misread the UI. The gold costs are much more reasonable than I thought. Disregard the below amounts

Currently lvl 18. The gold cost to respect a single passive skill tree node is like 7600.
Thats more gold than ive gotten all game. Absurdly expensive. That being said, I never played PoE but its my understanding that you didnt even have this choice in that game? So i guess expensive respect is much much better than never respec.

You can't be telling the truth. It costs almost 600 gold per node at level 27. And it increases with your level.

In the first game there were a few free respec points for side quests, and also there were orbs of regret.

Oh thank God. You are correct. I was misreading the UI. The UI showed 7600 in red and then 7400 in yellow to the right. So i thought that meant it needed 7600 gold but i only have 7400 and therefore cant do it. But you made me double check and now I realize its saying that after I respect the point ill have 7400 gold left. THANK YOU.

I gather like 20.000 gold, then I reset 12 nodes and I'm 8.000. WTF
Reset for few nodes is too high and full tree? No way.

Dang thats brutal. Guess it just gets worse and worse at higher levels
