"charges grant no inherent benefit"
Did you guys read the tooltip for charges?

I was using this skill that gave me ENDURANCE charges and was wondering why it had no affect on my stats.

Turns out the names of the charge types no longer have any meaning...

In general I have found that the safe assumption to make is that I don't know anything.

Holdovers from POE 1 or other games in the genre are not reliable. If it isn't explicitly stated in the game to do a particular thing, then just assume that it doesn't.
