How does "Allocating Points for Weapon Sets" work?
I got points for Weapon Sets 1 and 2, but can't seem to use them? Not sure what this is.

I don't really get it either. I would like to hear about it.

You use them with passive skill points, took me a while to figure it out

What's really the point though? As far as I understand it associates the passive with that weapon set. If that's the case why not just spend the passives normally so it affects both weapon sets?

It seems like you can have different passives depending on which weapon is equipped. Sounds cool in theory, but due to how the skill tree is set up and respec costs it seems like an annoying feature that is just going to further incentivize people to use build guides. I'm not against this mechanic, I just dislike how it's implemented.

I understand what you're saying, the Weapon Skill points are basically a 'loadout' but you need the skill points to allocate them in the first place. its mainly used for players that want to use 2 weapons to benefit the most.

So let's say you gave a boss that weak to fire but you have a lightning weapon. Weapon swap and problem solved fight that boss.

That system is really confusing to use rn

So later game, you can basically switch specializations on the fly, by switching weapon sets? If that's how it works, that is kind of interesting and I've never heard of that being a thing in any other game.
I don't know if I like it, but it sounds pretty unique.

Its kinda weird right now, i just use them for some extra main stat nodes.

Seems like it's complicating things a little too much. Maybe as the game gets more feature complete and fleshed out there may be some case uses.

Yea, but how? That's my biggest problem, it won't even let me use the points.
Just says I have points and can't use them.

You can assign a skill to a weapon slot and have your character automatically swap to that weapon when you cast that skill. A certain number of passives are also assigned to weapon slots.

Ie:
Flame Wall --> Weapon Set 1 with a fire weapon --> fire passive points
Spark --> Weapon Set 2 with lightning weapon --> lightning passive points
Automatic swapping to the best setup based on the skill you cast.

ie2:
Leap Slam --> Shield+1h focused around stuns --> Stun buildup passives
Big dam skills --> big dam 2h weapon --> big dam passives

That's cool and all, but the issue isn't what the feature does.
The issue is, how do you even spend the points to begin? Clicking Weapon Set does nothing.
There's supposed to be another skill tree somewhere? Where?
How do you even get this feature to function to begin with?

With controller there's a button you hold to toggle, but I haven't actually used it. There's something in the upper right which I assume is where you click on kb/m, but for some reason they disable most kb/m functions if you're using the controller so idk for sure.
