it won't work in wide screen for me. its literally grayed out. can change resolution to 3440x1440p

No way, i have black bars on the side. what resolution you running? in the settings it doesnt go ultrawide.

Officially, no. But there's the mod: https://github.com/RoseTheFlower/UltrawideIndex

Legit dev with A LOT of UW fixes. I've used many of them, including this one.
