wow, i join the camp of the "too difficult"

Well, i thought the game was ok difficult until now.
I'm in the begining of act 2, 2 levels over the map difficulty, and i've been raped by the 2-bosses fight ikbal and ekbal. Seemed easy at first, just roll over and kill the first boss, the second one is pretty useless excpet for his aoe, so second boss will be easy...
No way, second boss spams aoe everywhere, you can't dodge all, you can't damage him since his shield repairs faster than you dps him...
Well, i changed my opinion now : POE has been famous for the infinity of builds it lets you play, but that's totally inocmpatible with killing bosses : you need one of the two options for now : be a pro gamer, or min max build with something you paste from the internet.
Not fun at all....

Well it also comes down to what gear you have, if you got well bad gear you will have a hard time. Hell my monk can barely survive few hits from bosses and do little damage as i had little to no luck on my drops or crafting.

It's quite amazing so many people forget it's a ARPG.

Go farm and improve your equipment. Build is only one part of the equation.

It's super early access, so expect some balancing issues for classes.

i'm done for now testing the game. It's really unplayable...
I'm almost sad i can't refound now....
Act one was ok, the ultimate boss was hard, but not THAT hard (i left a message here crying, but i was just an idiot, it only needed frost resistance to pass)
Act 2 is insane. First boss i was just running around waiting for the NPC to kill him, second boss is that double one i can't damage...
If you say the end of act 2 and act 3 are worst, this game does not deserve the million copies sold... that's a theft at that level....

It is skill issue, the game forces you to adapt or die. The way of adaptation might be you get few more levels, get better gear and come back like a boss. Dont let frustration to get best out of you. Good luck.

I understand that, i have played almost every ARPG since diablo first of its name...

2 points to counter your argument :

First one
- farming is almost useless here because i'm already 2 levels over the level cap, if you need to be 10 levels over the map level, it's jst stupid level design
- loot can't be found in act 2 since most of important loot is in act 3 or not in EA

Second one
- if you market that anyone can build anything in this game, make it be possible. I know my build suck for my minions do no damage, but i build a necromancer.... if the summons do no damage, don't let me build a necromancer...

Bonus point : before launching early access, tell people the game will be a POE reskin of dark souls, and don't brand it POE2 to make people believe it's a sequel...

Thks, i did try... i did not resign when i died on the first 10 bosses... i did farm to get better gear, i did tryp to be better at this game... I believe i am a really good player, but i just don't want to copy paste a build found on the internet, i want to have fun with a character i wan't to play (in this case, a necromancer)...

if killed him with lvl 5 rare equip exept for the weapon because i dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get ♥♥♥♥ my first legendary as a merc was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will zepter.....

play "Kripp Life Stacker Infernalist" or similar build and enjoy. I'm on act 4, lvl 53 its still easy, rewarding and fun. Didn't asked for help, defeated all bosses my own. I died couple times but its ok, part of the game. Minion builds fits well to this EA stage. Try it you won't regret.

the hilarity of people calling this game a ds reskin just because it.... has "hard" bosses? because theres a dodge roll? this just in fresh release EA game doesnt have perfect balance across all classes and builds and as such certain enemies may prove more difficult than others. NOOOOOOOO HOW COULD THIS BEEEEEEEE
