Banned/Account Locked and muted for 160 hours

I typed something stupid because someone asked what it meant, so my account was locked. I've tried to email them like 5 times but now im getting messages that they cant recieve emails????? why lock accounts if you dont have to resources to handle the appeal process???? I just wanna play the game.

Update 1 week later. No response to my email and Still locked out of my account.

2 People were arguing in chat and one called the other a chomo and he didn't know what it meant, so I typed Child M*lesto. Yeah i definitely should've thought before i typed that but I dint mean any harm and I would've been completely fine with a 168 hour mute, but I bought the game, and I'd like to play it.

PoE moderation is pretty strict. Even posting a copy pasta can get you muted, and a mute is a trade ban.

Mutes keep going up in time and as far as I know never reset.

so some loser just sits there moderating the chat?.. the internet seems to have become a playground for people with nothing better to do. i don't chat since i rather spent that time playing the game than to be reading others conversations.

One of the best parts of PoE was Standard Global #2
An absolute fiesta of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at times, but it was awesome how free the conversation was.

You should not have had account banned? Maybe chat locked but a full ban? Request a Steam refund as you have been unjustly banned for using freedom of speech.
Also ask for a full transcript of what was said and which words you were banned for.
