How to play solo self found?

On the character creation screen its only standard or hardcore - how do I make SSF? I'm new to the series btu im not going to be trading etc, unless party play is something particularly good in this game?

Its an option a bit further after you choose ur character class

after choosing class, before starting the game? I never got it? :(

Does SSF stop me from using the shops? Or is it player trading it disables?

I can see the option between the two flags, standard and hardcore, but nothing else?

you cant trade or group with other players

Ah its a controller issue! The UI is different if you make your character on controller. With MKB its got a dropdown as you say, but on controller that's not the same.

MKB -> asks me to choose standard or hardcore, then choose class, then there's a dropdown along with the naming step

Controller -> Asks me to pick a class, then name my character with a prompt to change league. If you press square for league settings, it only displays standard or hardcore (just like the first step as MKB, with seemingly no way of fine tuning it?)

Ah I see now, I was wondering this myself since I use a controller as well.
