Banned randomely for no reason?

playing softcore hit lvl 40 and just banned nothing said? Anyone else get something like this

This used to happen in PoE1 as well when you hit a certain level.

I wonder if that bug is back and rearing its ugly head in this game now.

Had something similar happen to me yesterday, sent an email to the devs. I was also around level 40 in Act 3 when it happened so I don't know if it has something to do with that or not, I was in the middle of running through the Sanctum dungeon to get a large soul core and got banned on both POE2 and POE1. Haven't hear anything from them yet and I'm not expecting to for a few days since they're probably incredibly busy right now

Curiously, there were rumors about ascending having to do with the lvl 40 ban, as bots wouldn't run the lab in poe1. You have a quest open to [edit: ascend], which I'd assume means you haven't even tried the second ascendancy trial. Just curious, not saying you did something wrong, but ... maybe something to keep in mind.

Yeah just watched the clip and it actually looks like we got banned in the same dungeon as well. I wonder if there is a weird bug with hitting a certain level in that dungeon or something.

I did first ascendancy and was doing main mission getting medium soul cores and had just hit 40 and got banned no idea if they have some issues with it but sounds like other people got it as well

so you get banned when you reach level 40 o-o?
another reason to not continue this game for now.
i already decided yesteday to not continue the game until they fixxed the infinite loading screen bug since it is very annoying. atleast i dont have the problem where the game goes one step further and causes your entire PC to freeze XD. its even more worse for those peoples. but ... now even a ban at a certain level? lol xD.

Obviously it's not happening to many players, but it was a bug in PoE1 that lasted for a long time. I even had it happen to me once.

That scares me I sent a support ticket but who knows how long that will take if others too are waiting................

Unless its severe (we are talking about threats, full on harrashment or discrimination, then a mute/block is always the option to go for)
Warnings are also a good idea in my opinion, it make people think about their action and adapt to what the game allows or not..

Overall I have not heard about any people being banned, but it seems odd indeed.
