Very different games in terms of combat honestly. I prefer this but if you come expecting POE1 but prettier you'll be underwhelmed.
It is actually a better game, and I have thousands of hours on POE. That's my opinion, but one quite a few other share as well.
If you aren't looking for a constant challenge or don't like restarting new characters due to mistakes blocking progress then you might want to hold off for a bit and see if some tweaks are made.
watch a gamplay video and make your own opinion unless you want to reinforce a choice already made.
here you would have opinions and all their opposites.
Personally I like this game, it's a real evolution of POE, but you have to like testing/building a character
This game is bad for now.
Just don't expect loot explosions and zoom zoom gameplay.
Its different, but very fun.
PoE 2 is immediately clear that it is the son of PoE 1 for better or for worse.
Don't expect a game that takes you by the hand and takes you for a ride hopping on the meadows, the game puts you to the test from the beginning and the bosses require strategy and a certain skill.
You are an Exile... there is no mercy for those like us here. :D
im playing warrior and altho i invested almost everything in defense my kill speed with average gear is pretty fast
dodge roll is 100% not my most used skill. i use it occasionally to dodge heavy attacks. it just a cool feature to use
all that crying , and theres a lot of that rn, comes from people wanting to rush through the game. without going back or stayin in the current area they are in at the moment
to farm some exp and or items
then they cry about how bad/slow the game is altho they obviously dont understand the most basic aspects of arpg games
go spend the money to get a key and enjoy the game. its already quite polished for an EA
