I have no idea how they thought you could beat Trial of the Sekhemas at level 22

I'm running a relatively optimal build for Mercenary at level 25 but even in the lucky times I am able to reach the boss, I cannot do enough DPS to beat it before he floods the arena with volcanoes and drains my honour. Every boss up until now has been relatively fine but this one I'm forced to overlevel and overgear, especially since even some of the rare enemies that have regeneration are rendered impossible to beat due to its ability to heal faster than I can damage it, even with synergies going.

To gate the class ascension behind something this horrid of a DPS check is unacceptable and the entire area needs an overhaul.

Let me tell you. I came bk later and finished with 1 gold key, 3 silver and 2 bronze at the end.

Loot was terrible and I visibly frowned.

beat it at 22 on a chaos/bone witch - I'm not sure if it's a hard DPS check, as I was able to dodge around and through the lava as I went. The entire area was flowing with it

I'm doing it on warrior. It's not fun. Will come back at lvl30.

A friend of mine beat it with Witch too so it's likely they have not tested every class with certain boss fights yet, especially melee ones as I have heard many have had an even worse time than I have with the trial using those.

I beat it "easily" with the witch, but i was lucky to find rooms with crystal that need to be clicked.
But for more ascendency points i have to do it again?

Wait until you get to Ultimatum, the worst league mechanic from PoE 1. Especially when the game crashes at round 6/10

Dude, I am level 45+ and I can't complete it (lvl 38 zone) to get my effing 2 asc. points :D This is ridiculous, do I have to be lvl 60+ to get them?? :D

and man, what a tedious slog it was.. play thru all those levels, just hoping you have enough honor to take on the end boss.

doing this multiple times per league? on each character? yah screw that. never want to do it again. it is literal work. not fun... not that poe1 labs were "fun" either, but at least I could just run thru most of it.

I find the trial to be fun. On both monk and sorceress I found it to be challenging enough to end up with low honor, but winning at first attempt. Its rather forgiving in the sense that you can get hit quite a few times. Of course dodging the boss slams is mandatory...
If you really don't like that game mode, you can either outlevel it or do one of the other ascension trials.

Any tip of how I can do it on warrior? The class without evasion and basically the one that doesn't care if he gets hit, but trials do not bother with this.

the thought of doing this multiple times per league is daunting....i don't even want to reroll another char just because of this

ArchNemesis is calling, he says he wants his title back. Ultimatum, it's like Sanctum, you need to make a build specifically to farm it, otherwise your ass will get fisted for the memes, and now more since they added the vomitive mobs from Affliction.
