"Diablo 4 killer..." Really? I don't see it.

I'm enjoying POE2 so far, but I don't see what would keep me playing for many hours like Diablo 4:

1) Combat doesn't feel as good. I'm seeing that people like the slow paced action, but so far Ive been quite bored with kiting around standard mobs while shooting over and over and over.

2) Feeling isolated. It's always online like D4 yet only time you see other players is in town. No world events (that i know of), no PVP, etc. Then why does it need to always be online?

3) Skill tree is over-hyped. Once you piece off the part of the tree that's for your class, it's not as overwhelming as ppl claim it is. Plus what you can choose isn't really that special. +5 attributes, 3% attack speed, etc. Again, it's not that it's terrible, but I don't see what makes this any more special than paragon points in D4.

4. Purchasable cosmetics: They all look really goofy. If I put many hours in this game I'd like to support it, but they all look silly, kind of like New World's cosmetics.

5. Can't customize character. Can't make him/her look any different. No transmogs, like D4.

I don't think this game is terrible, just so far over-hyped to the max like Wolcen and last epoch.

Edit: instead of getting upset and throwing jesters my way, please explain what makes POE2 better? Because I was hoping to end up spending thousands of hours in this game like ppl claimed I would.

Once again insults lol. Dont' feel personally attacked. In case you missed it: I DON'T MIND THE POE 2 DIFFICULTY AND AS A DARK SOULS PLAYER I WELCOME IT. My build has been easy to manage going blind. I don't think it's that hard at all.

Funny, I did not buy the D4 expansion, because I did not want to do the same boring stuff again, only because it may be 'better' now. More people in town? Who cares. Only thing my guild did there, were boss runs for loot, that I do not need, if I don't do boss runs. Seasons are for braindead. Do the same again and again? I played D2 LoD for years. D4 for 3 months and was gone. 12 years DDO now. Maybe POE 2 got that potential, but it needs more MMO elements then, making groupplay interesting. That is what I miss, and D4 never offered realy.

Also I never played POE1, don't ever intend to, if you're inferring I'm some kind of 'fan boy' of the franchise. It looks just as bad as one-click mindless D4.

GGG's level of polishing of PoE 2 is unattainable for Blizzard and its Diablo 4. D4 is one of the most boring games I've played.
