Stuck on jamanra

Hi guys, my necromancer witch did fine until then, but jamanra is soooo long to kill and he os my minions and myself pretty easily....
I tried to go until 30% of his life, but then he disappears, and something like a sand storm comes in and kill me. What should i do then ??
Also, i've farmed until level 23, maybe it's not high enough ? Where to farm xp and gear in act 2 ?

its scripted u can't kill him first time around. just follow the quest

well, i can't kill him, but he can... are you saying i must not reload when i'm dead ?

You fight this dude twice. Once in his live form, second at undead dude, or Jamanra, the Abomination is the main fight, Jamanra, the Risen King is the first one that is scripted and you can't kill him

If you are talking about the first encounter, you cannot kill him. He flees and you have to follow him. It is a scripted event.

i did nothing of that : i remove 70% of his bar life, then a sand storm appears and i'm dead

With either option you should not just die like that. No idea whats occuring.

did you kill the scarabs that he spawns at the end. becase he is supose to fly of. but i didnt think he did that until you killed everything. get back there and see if the stairs are there

incredibly cool boss fight design.
If you cannot beat him, trade your Chaos orbs or Exalted orbs for some legendary gear on the official PoE 2 trade website.
Or you can grind locations to levelup and come back with new passives

Are we all talking about the version that is on the city walls when you are about level 20 ?
Patterns are a laser beam and a big aoe when you need to come in the middle of the blast ?
When about 70% of his lifebar is off, there is something like a sand storm, the NPC with you cast some kind of a protective spell, i come close to her and died after a few second.
I've not tried to kill him a third time yet.

For those who find the answer here is my technique :
Just roll over and over the time the NPC and your minions lower his life to about 30% where after a short fight against some mobs he leaves.
I died the second time when mobs spawned it seems.

if you die in boss fight and you are spawned at waypoint, how do you get your NPC back?

either go down the stairs to the right
or stand in the bouble of the NPC that goes with you.

When the sandstorm happens get behind your companion she puts up a barrier that goes in a straight line decently fat back. Stay in that area rolling to avoid zombies or kill them if your fast and strong enough not to be moved out of the barrier
