He should be making a short to explain his fix soon, too. He did a couple things.
One option you can do quickly is just reduce your shadows and lights, though. Ive been playing on low because im on a 1060 and i havent crashed once.
Unfortunately I personally don't know/have a solution that fixes the problem completely. Switching to DX11 runs the game a bit more stable but crashes will/can still occur. Perhaps fiddle around a bit with graphic settings, that's a long shot though.
For a full fix we're going to have to wait till they release a patch that fixes the issue.
