Game is Hard Crashing

Have the Developers from anyone's knowledge talked about fixing the Hard Lockups? Every 2-3 times I switch to a new zone or in general when I fight mobs, my rig will hard crash where I have to manually power it down and restart it. For safety reasons, I feel I will have to stop playing this for a bit to protect my rig. Any insight will be helpful. I love this game but I love my rig more :)

I have stopped playing it till they fix this... hard lockups that require a system resets and only this game does it, everything else works fine.

Try vulkan instead of dx12

Only had it happen twice in like... 6 hours, it wouldn't be that bad if I didn't have to physically shut down/power on the PC when it happens.

I'll hold on playing for now as well.

As for configs, got a 5800X3D, 4090, 64gb ram, high end SSD, new-ish windows 11 install (like 1 month old, not enough time for windows to screw up itself, more than it does out of the box)

All my temps are fine and no other games have any issues as well.

i know my brother an i have amd systems we both have about 40hrs an havent locked up once. watching streamers with 4090s i havent seen them lock up, i would suggest the usual things.
update drivers.
update windows.
update bios.

Uncheck the last 2 or 3 cores for poe2 from task manager(don't remember setting) . Set a limit of 90% on your CPU with a program like BES. Unfortunately, this is the temporary solution for now. The game freezes but the pc is safe.

If you disable core 0 and core 1, you can close the game from task manager when it crashes, and Vulkan doesn't help

Tried just the core thing, disabled affinity for my last 2 cores. Game crashed after 2 hours, but the PC stayed fine. Thanks so much both of you <3

turn off nvidia GF overclocks with this game engine, or manual gpu cpu OCs

I got a 3080 Ti and, for some reason, this game crashes every couple of hours on direct X, switching to Vulkan fixed it, I've been playing for 2 days without crashes.

no reason to disable cores on an AMD Ryzen 5X, zero, no e-core intel interactions or bugs.

Literally solved my issue and it's the issue that is in the OP.

turn off and uncheck dynamic culling, and dynam resolution, make sure fullscreen only not window full.

NIS upscale off or DLSS instead. Put your shader cache control pnel nvidia to 10GB+. Vsync and triple buff off.

Your ryzen is bottlenecked with 4090, stop hamstringing it further
