Delete post. This game is easy now. Just boring.

The bosses are very intimidating, they should be hard to defeat. Otherwise, what's the point of them? GGG did a great job with them.

Its like old PoE before power creep. The siren at the end of act1 was hard without frost resist, today you just nuke her down in 10 seconds. Its same in PoE2, get resist and bosses are not hard. You can beat act1/2 bosses with just blue double resist rings from vendor and maybe charm switching.
How? Are you just disregarding temp buffs or are you just braindead? Like I'm genuinely confused how you can manage to just flat out fail with that many boys.
Believe me the birdbrains who keeps saying those things also suck at this game, they just like to pretend they are good here in the forum. Even the most veteran streamers of POE1/2 struggle, how much more these wannabe god-gamer idiots in here.
I like the simplicity of kill or be killed. Conversation and diplomacy take so much effort. A blade moves so effortlessly through flesh, as if they're made for each other.
what funny is the idea if you see a boss on maps and lose the map closes that spot. raid boss mechanics on a 1 shot map node.

what could go wrong?
I think you just have to git gud.

Btw. I don't get oneshotted on a glass cannon (when on full health), even if I get hit, so you might be doing something wrong...

Apparently the devs didn't understand how to make bosses actually hard and just stuck massive behemoths with FMA in a mini arena with you. They think that being forced to dodge literally every attack = good/well designed boss fight. I thought the limited space with the count was bad enough, but then the flamethrower, flying risen king, and overlord and beast arenas are smaller, and they throw more aoe, and extra stuff. At least with Geonor, you could run to one side of the arena and he'd be off screen. Then they made even more atrocious boss fights in ACT 2.

Why don't they just create a super boss encounter where there's no room to run anywhere, you have no dodge, there are 5 bosses right next to you, and every attack they have is a one-shot attack.

That's pretty much what most of the boss fights are dangerously close to being.

The beast tamer boss fight is the worst. Literally, 90% of the space is death, and you need to navigate the other 10% to survive and deal dps. Just terrible, trashy boss encounter design
Do you need to dogde more in act 2 compared to act 1? In 90% of act 1 you dont need to ever dogde. Kiting around without dogde is just fine it seems.

I would say yes, bosses tend to have more spam damage in Act 2, in Act 1 most of them are pretty chill. Maybe you could get away with just walking if you learn the moveset well, but I find myself using dodge more.

I love the slow paced, meaningful aspect of the game. Leveling slow, slow gear progression, slow skill progression. It gives it longevity and feels good to me. I know a lot will dislike this.

What I absolutely f(*(king hate is the 'git gud' crowd coming into this game and acting like they're some hardcore tough guys on forums. It's laughable.

I like the challenge of a tough boss that you can overcome. But this souls-like, 1 shot mechanic, dodge roll nonstop, 5 boss stages getting even more and more insane and you die and start from stage 1, health sponge 50 bajillion life 20 minute fight crap is so insanely ridiculous that it doesn't belong in an ARPG.

I don't know why you would make such a beautiful and perfect ARPG and then attach Elden Ring boss fights onto it. What crowd are you trying to find? If you're going to make bosses this insanely overtuned and difficult, then you need respec costs WAY down so we can respec and try other builds and skill gems purchasable so we can try other skills.

I have a 28 minion witch and it's so unfun to fight bosses that I just deleted her and started as a ranger. Going to try it.

Send in the clowns and internet tough guys. This post is for GGG so I'm unsubscribing because I really don't want to see the super hardcore ultra skilled mega toughies replying with their tired macho pablum.

Pffft...you young ones. You haven't played a hard game until you've played TMNT, Battletoads, or Mike Tyson's Punch-out on NES. If you want to kill the bosses in POE2, it's easy. You can literally just run around them, and use ranged attacks or AOE attacks.
I only had a problem with one boss, and it was the first boss, the first time I played this game. And it was before I realized that you can just run circles around them and kill them with ranged attacks.
