thats CoD players for you
Player skill issue and player build theory crafting issue! And leave jesus out of this.
Remember that poe 1 has always had you build on previous characters, slowly gaining currency and uniques, especially if you did self found (which everyone is doing right now mainly). As you play the game you will get better equipment, you will learn the fights better etc, and everything will be easier. It's hardest when you first start.
Make it too easy though and suddenly there is not real reason to replay through the same stuff again, as there is no challenge (I'm looking at you D4...and D3).
Right now even if you play through with 1 character, you can still die to some bosses with your next. That is refreshing. Even if (like me) you usually don't die, you still have to TRY not to die (well except in some cases for the warrior who is pretty good at just face tanking things).
Tone things down too much and you will lose way more players then if you don't because there will not be any challenge left, no real reason to make strong builds, because you can walk through it with anything. It would defeat the purpose of having such a good system to build up a character.
Yes, following other peoples builds already does that, and yes trading and getting all the best equipment right away also does that, but those are play choices. Right now if you struggle because you don't have equipment etc, you just have to wait till it's available, till guides are made for you etc.
IF you tone everything down though, there is no fix for it, you no longer have motivation to come up with good combos, and you can already pretty much face tank most of the bosses with halfway decent defenses.
If you are dying, if you are being challenged, USE that......practice and get better, play more/grind for better eq, or bring another character up, you'll get more resources, more uniques and can make all your characters strong.
IF you don't enjoy bringing the characters up and trying the different skills and weapons, then you just don't enjoy this game, so move on or wait till someone will walk you through how to play it.
For those of us that actually like to explore new horizens and challenge ourselves with new content that hasn't already been spoiled, this game rocks. I'm not thrilled by the trial but other than that, no major dissapointments here. I could handle a bit more difficulty but based on the posts I have seen, asking for that would be too much. I certainly don't wanna see everything become easy/baby mode like D4 though, that would ruin this game.
