Herald of Ash/Gas Arrow Interaction question (no detonation of cloud)
Why don't ignited enemies from Herald of Ash set off the Gas Arrow Cloud? The Herald of Ash gem states that overkill damage is transferred to an explosion that causes ignite on nearby enemies.
The Gas Arrow gem states that the cloud will detonate if touched by an ignited enemy.
What am I missing?

I followerd a guide, that stated, it would ignite the cloud but it doesnt work. I read that enemys dont get the ignite buff, when visually burning from Herald of Ash. Seems bugged.

I'm not 100% sure but i'd warrant it's something to to with the difference in what they consider a 'triggerable effect' and a 'passive effect'. Gas in this case is being treated as a 'primer' and to work efficiently/selectively (and not randomly) you'd need to apply a deliberate trigger (ignite SKILL). Relying on HoF alone would be too chaotic besides pissing off any team members using gas for their own setups etc...

Natural burning enemys, and their Aura and Projectiles, let the cloud explode. I think its because they dont get the proper burn status from Herald of Ash. Maybe it got nerfed. It worked for the guy writing the build guide.

I don't think that is it. People were setting off gas cluds with Flame Wall, which, afaik, doesn't inflict ignite directly (as in if you drop the wall right on the cloud it won't blow up), but mobs that get hit by the flame wall are ignited, afiak, and that does trigger the cloud. At least, that's what I could figure out looking at the skills that the build creator was using.
