This is the WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had in a game.

This is by far the game that has stressed me out the most.
The quality of life in the game is AWFUL. The character's inventory doesn't fit anything. Gold in the game is rare, the price of a ring or an amulet is almost triple what I have now. If you want gold, you have to keep going back to town to sell the items, and this happens practically all the time because the inventory fits 5 pieces of equipment. I'm managing to survive with weapons that I have to buy from the town vendor because the weapon I use DOESN'T DROP. I'm level 26, getting through the stages on crutches because there's NO way to upgrade equipment, and the items you use don't drop. IT'S WEIRD.
Looking at the game's review, you can see that these people are hypocrites, they complained so much about Diablo 4, but the quality of life here is MUCH WORSE, and look, I'm not even a Diablo fan. I've been playing for almost 30 hours and I haven't dropped ANYTHING from my class.
Now I want to understand something, did I buy the game to have fun or to stress myself out?
The difficulty was good at first, but after a while it gets boring and irritating, it completely loses its fun and becomes stressful. I regret buying it.
Either Sorceress is CRAP, or this game is unbalanced.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD IN A GAME TO DATE, some Bosses are ridiculous, you have to dodge 40 things happening at the same time on the screen, if 2 hits hit you die. Lots of mobs entering in the middle of combat, one of the worst, if not the worst game I've ever had the displeasure of playing. This game is FAR from being fun. How disappointing, I waited so long for this garbage to come out.

You shouldn't be spending your money on vendors, except in an emergency or if a really, really good item appears there.

Look for white items and upgrade them upgrade blue items. Those blue orbs are plentiful, no need to hoard (the yellow ones are more difficult to find).

Make smart decisions with your support gems and passives. They will be your lifeline at the start.

Can you/how hard is it to reset passives? I've seen the massive skill grid and having to chart my path through the whole thing before spending points would be a bridge too far for me. It's what kept me off POE1. Game looked good and I was having fun but the skill tree was a hard stop. If I can reset then I can be a min/max god because i'm borderline OCD about doing that, and enjoy it, but I don't wanna go that far down a rabbit hole right off the rip. Game needs to at least buy me dinner first yaknow?

It costs gold to refund each passive node. It's not super expensive, you will be able to do it.

You can respec after you rescue the shadow dude (pretty early in the game).

I am right now going towards nodes that are close to the start that are relevant, and much later after I have accumulated a lot of points I will look into redoing the entire tree, if necessary. It's been working so far.

The passive tree looks daunting, but by ignoring a large portion of it and just working towards certain nodes that will give me an immediate boost, I'm getting by (mostly going for +damage and +attack speed stuff, in my case). I won't care about jewel nodes or capstones for now.

Do you know what a 'Souls-Like' is?

Because even on the PoE2 store page:
- In the 'Games like this' section, 2 Dark Souls games are listed.
- In the 'User defined tags', 'Souls-Like' is one of the popular tags.

So explain that, and answer the questions asked in both this post, and the one you quoted but yet dodged that question as well.

Look at your orbs. Hover over each one and read what it says. There are orbs to upgrade your whites to blue, whites to gold, blues to gold, etc.

Get yourself a white version of the equipment you use and then use orbs on it to make it awesome.

What did you think the orbs were for?

These games are great but the issue for me is that I want to just play and I don't want to have to follow someone else's build guide and I understand I will need to do that here too.

I enjoyed the original POE until I hit a wall (twice) with over 100 hours played over two characters, when I asked for help I was told it was my fault as I didn't follow a build guide but I don't want to follow someone else's build.

I could be wrong but it is my understanding I also cant just play this and will have to follow build guides or I will again hit a wall and not be able to progress?

Its almost like the very many people telling you its a skill issue are correct and they shouldnt make a game easier to cater to the 10 braindead 5 year olds who still cant beat a single souls boss
