Ice vs lightning vs fire

For the vets out there who has been theorycrafting since the dawn of age, genuinely curious as to which elemental build are better overall for leveling experience on Sorceress.

Some have been saying frosbolt is rly good, others say fireball explosions are better. Mine personally has been progressing smooth w/ arc lightning & spark

I'm no veteran but in my experience so far I wish I went frost instead of fire. Mobs tend to swarm you and chill + freeze seems like it would help a lot.

Yeah, im using fire to spam Raging Spirits but I regret not going all in on ice. Freezing everything in place is just too valuable.

I tried frost and fire too. I think fire is better at bosses. Frost better for mobs :)

Frost for groups and fire/lighting for singles.
Frost will freeze enemies and keep them from swarming you, while single high dmg fire/lighting will take out bigger targets.
But combining the elements is the master way to play. Cast a fire wall and send lighting thru it to add fire effect to the lighting. Plus other ways to combine the elements.

Is frost late game viable?
I always see/read that lightning all the way with firewall becouse dps

Levelling? Freezing Shards with Pierce+Tempo and Frost Bomb with Cascade+Fast Forward.

The annoying part is keeping up to date with weapons at vendors, but I haven't found a skill that's better than Shards yet. The shotgun is just way too powerful, especially combined with the Exposure.
