For anyone having low fps issues

Hey all jumped on today and game was struggling with low fps, i went into windows control panel > display > Graphics and put both path of exile 2 exes on "your graphics card"(high performance) setting. Also went into nvidia control panel and selected poe2exe and put Opengl rendering GPU setting to my graphics card and power management mode to prefer maximum performance. And that fixed stuttering and low fps for me hope this helps.

I have an AMD GPU so I don't have low fps issues.
200 fps maxed 1440p 7800 XT.
Maybe don't buy nvidia garbage next time?

Wow very toxic, had problems with amd in the past so ill pass. clearly not nvidia problem more either windows or poe not using the graphics card properly. 1440p? yeah im running mine at 4k lmao

Well i have the exact same AMD and I am having frame drops when I’m in any of the “hub” worlds any idea why?? And I get between 100-150 frames max when in a combat area just when I’m in a hub zone it sits on 50 and drops even lower sometimes

AMD needs 50%-100% VRAM to keep up with NVIDIA, also AMD is halting production of high end GPUs.

Are the hubs where other players gather? I had issues with the MTX skins dropping fps in towns in POE 1.

I have a 4090 and 7800X3D on W11. I can get max 50 fps, and it's showing that im maxing out with 4.2 GB of VRAM despite the card having 24 GB. I've tried the fixes that have worked for some people including this one and another where I cleared the shader cache and nothing has changed. Any advice? (Also, on 12/8 everything was seemingly fixed and everything worked great. the next day, it was back to being ♥♥♥♥.)

your cpu can't handle it, or the game itself having hard time rendering a bunch of models and effects at the same time. I can't say for sure, cuz i don't hav high end cpu to test it out.
