Free stash tab and weapon effect - PoE First Blood Starter Pack
I bought the $30 early access pack. It gives 300 points to spend. Is there any reason I cannot open PoE (1) and use 200 of those points to buy the First Blood Starter Pack? The pack comes with 200 points so basically costs nothing and I would get a free stash tab and a weapon effect that will carry over to PoE2.

Any downside that I am missing?

It doesn't work that way. Sets that include coins can't be bought, but coins.

OK, I assume you meant 'with coins'. Thanks. I just tried and you are completely correct.

Personally I call this a con. $20 = 200 coins but 200 coins does not = $20. Just goes to prove that whatever they are selling for 200 coins is not worth the $20 you paid for those coins.

I agree, the prices of POE are quite high. But still there are people who spend thousands of dollars on POE.
I am lucky, there are regional prices for me, but even they are too high for me to buy something like cosmetics. I bought only the First Blood set. For the sake of the tabs chest.

There are a lot of things that don't work in PEE2 right now, it's basically paid bug testing while development is still ongoing. That way they made money and saved on testers.

Every $10 is in fact 100 coins
So yes, 200 coins = $20

Every $10 is in fact 100 coins
So yes, 200 coins = $20
200 coins is like $20, but with limited usage.
You can't buy PoE-packs with coins
...and you can't buy groceries with coins ;)
