But this is obviously a personal preference thing - the only one coping is the OP not realizing his problem is not understanding that people like different things.
I especially like the way skills combo. Where in other ARPGs you would just spam multiple fire walls to kill mobs here that doesn't work. You use one (or two) and then combo skills with it.
And you can simply move out of attacks and block besides dodging.
Here is an issue with the combat though. It seems to be designed more for WASD/Controller than click-to-move. The standard ARPG control scheme is straight up inferior in this game.
Game is fun tho.

My only problem with the dodge roll is that the dodge roll is bad. It feels like fatrolling from DS1. Combined with the lack of i-frames and it just seems kinda worthless 99% of the time.
Yeah, I absolutely wouldn't mind them gone. But they won't even be gone in the first place, someone will make a "full comprehensive guide on how to faceroll through the game with your lightning sorc", and they all will be right back here.
I dislike the melee combat in PoE 1 and was hoping for better in part 2. Yet the game play feels worse, less build diversity, less control over how you want to approach the challenge and skills are glued to weapons which we have 2 melee options for right now.
This felt so terrible to play and it really comes down to the essence of DS/Elden Ring being injected here, 0 doubt. I love those games. But man, PoE2 for me is just a bad ARPG right now.
No interest in loggin in at all after clearing act 1 (3 deaths total, 360 sheet dps default attack with 25% atk speed, rage, Qstaff)
