in the long run that means the game is still to easy... if i remember my first day in poe 1... yeah... i went to camp 20 times per map to sell every little ♥♥♥♥ i could to at least get something, up to the point i got me an exalt worth of mats. and got (as a lot of newbs) scammed out of it for a trashy item that seemed super good at that time.
i dont know how long ppl actually "farm" a zone and gear up, or just run through it and expect everything to insta pop into a red cloud... but i love me some hard boss fights. the bullet sponge part is somewhat a concern now, but i guess later that will change... i mean, as someone said, its what 1-2 telegraphes for the act 1 bosses you have to dodge for a longer time because tons of hp? good training for the probably 20+ telegraph multiphase stuff you have to do later...
anyway, i cant even play the thing because my pc imploded... so, be happy you can actually complain about it, i can just pretend until i get a new rig up and running =P (which will take the whole EA phase sadly...).
(ps)
1. Dodge recovery is good. You can also cancel your dodge mid-dodging or cancel your attack and dodge.
2. Bosses have only 2-3 mechanics that actually deal damage to you, the rest you can just face tank. You only dodge those mechanics and spam attack the boss. I am melting them as a warrior with bleed and autoattacks.
3. In regular combat I have abilities that clear the whole group of mobs in an instant and molten blast into boneshatter is my choice for that. I run through the map like a maniac and group mobs just to kill a group of them all at once. You don't need to fight all the mobs as well.
4. You are too used to uniques. Yellow items are broken now. Blue are enough to clear anything if you build correctly. Yellow items give A LOT of stats, so they are kinda rare. I have only 1 unique item and I am not even using it. I prefer to have balanced resistances, instead of simping for uniques.
5. People can't make builds. They started quitting warrior for other classes, while I as a warrior am melting bosses.
6. Ok. Some hitboxes need to be changed a little bit. Literally a little bit. They are slightly off.
7. I don't have this issue. I can do a lot between dodges. I only dodge like 3 mechanics per boss. I face tank everything else. Their autoattacks deal like 10-15% of my hp. I can heal that.
i agree its abit boring, I am playing as the Witch Class and all i do is spam Firewall spell... Sure its my fault doing so, but its hard to not use firewall as its the only AoE spell that feels good for the Witch so far.
And yea some of the hitboxes are cucked.
I would suggest looking at support gem and how they interact with one another to build damage or offer value in interesting ways. Both classes I have played have ways to add high amounts of damage to x spell by doing y.
I also personally like that I don't need a loot filter in this game and that crafting is a meaningful aspect of the game that makes white items even worth looking at.
If things are taking too long to kill or the game is feeling to hard I would suggest looking at your gear, see what you can upgrade or craft new. Check out the vendor ever time you level up too, there can be good base items available to you as well. Don't horde crafting materials or be afraid to move things around in your passive tree or skill gems. The game forces you to interact will all the mechanics of the game or thing won't work out well for you.

I am in the same situation. Likely the same build as you lol. but really theres not much flexibility with witch.
But ya I agree, outside of the boss fights the game is pretty tedious and boring.

I mean, half of the classes, spells, support gems and everything are not in the game yet. When they arrive, I will not even know what to do. I will be lost xd
