Jiquani's machinarium - game crashes upon entry

I can't progress the game. Anyone having this issue as well? :(
Couldn't google anything about it.

same for me when i try to open game it freezes and reboot my pc

Same for me, it first crashed inside Jinquani's, now when I try to load in I crash at the loadscreen. Sometimes I can load in, take a couple of steps, then it crashes again. I changed the renderer to Vulkan, back and forth to DX12, had steam scan the file and repair but nothing is doing it.

I managed to fix mine with file verification but it seems like it didn't work out for you :/

The only other thing I found was tinkering with DLSS settings as well (but that one didn't help me at the time)

I have this issue too. Act 3 cruel, Upon first entry I kept crashing but could still play. Re did the map and the second attempt now instant crashes the game when i load my character!

Edit: Just fixed by running the repair/check game files.
