AMD GPU Crashing
Anyone else dealing with this? Im not too keen on pc hardware. i have a 7600 and the game has crashed for me multiple times while doing the first few quests. Ive tinkered with the settings and still have the same problem. Is this just a thing for regarding the current state of the games optimization, an amd specific issue?

I'm using an AMD 7900xt and currently downloading the game. Using Ubuntu.
Buddy just downloaded with a 7900 gre. So far he isn't crashing but will update if we run into stuff.

are you using dx12?
do you have the latest drivers installed?
are your settings turned up too high?

I was crashing repeatedly. Tried all the tricks online and nothing worked. I updated my bios and haven't had a single crash since.

If you take a look into the forum, it's a game issue. Game may crash or not in hours, but it will happen eventually. You can take a look here:

2 hours of gameplay and we haven't experienced crashing yet. He's on Windows 10 and I'm on Kubuntu 24.04. Looks like something with the game, not your video card.

No issues atm, running a R9 7900X3D CPU with a Radeon RX7700 XT

Bro your one of the few other peeps i know that run a 7900x3d as well lol,have a sapphire nitro 7900 xtx and it runs everything fine but have had some server issues,i few other friends have crashed a few times the last day or so.

Never crashed unless it was the one time on day 1 that I tried party play (not the GPU's fault)

7700X/6800XT here

I was crashing bad after the second last patch. Before that it was perfectly stable.
Will try again tonight as apparently they pushed a patch to address some crashing issues.
5900X and 7900XTX with latest GPU driver package.

Been realy happy with it. When I build my system it was either a I7 or I9 but the I9 was too much money for it. I feel like the Ryzen 9 is a good deal for the $$.

Vulcan no issues, DX12 still crashes a lot.
