They can't turn this into arcade or they loose all the players.
Don't play on hardcore, play a tanky class, learn the fights.
And give yourself some time to learn.
It's literally a brand new game.
It's time to be excited and do all the mistakes you want till you learn it that you can mechanically do it with your eyes closes and becomes to boring to play.
That's what i'm planning to do, i'm in act2 with a totem warrior.
Not the most interesting build, but found some cool interactions between reverberating shield , magma aura and infernal cry. besides totems.
Blocking and rolling mitigates a lot of dmg.
Add in some dot dmg from bleeds and poisons on the mace skill and every boss went down so far.
Praetor, seconds try - 2 minutes; Executioner, first try - 2 minutes; witch king in village, second try - 4 minutes; act 1 final boss Geanor, third try - 6 minutes.
You were just rolling around all 42 minutes not doing any damage or what?
You aren't willing to even acknowledge that you might need to improve and get better to be able to mechanically solve some of the riddles this game fights have..
So don't.. play something you are good at now .. no need to change anything or learn anything new.
This is a brand new game with some new mechanics and brand new fights.. if you aren't willing to learn them ..why play it?
This said, it took me a lot of time to kill the last boss of act 1. A lot as in around five minutes. Since i bit the dust several times against him, the total was close to around 20 minutes. If it
really took you 42 minutes for a boss, something is wrong on your end.
Skills are wildly unbalanced atm, some do thousands of damage while others do single-digit, to say nothing of the bugged ones being exploited by the top players.
than make it 10 times worse and you get POE2.
and the most strange thing is that everyone is now suddenly praising and defending POE2 for the exact same (but even bigger) flaws that they were bashing on D4.
