why are people complaining about difficulty?

finished act 1 with less than 10 deaths and 7 of those are from the last boss from act 1 (im playing warrior btw). been reading stuff online about how poe1 players think its too hard. is poe 1 easier than poe 2? did not really play poe 1 because i thought the gameplay was boring with how people just steamroll through a map it looked boring to me. having a blast with poe 2 though the difficulty was pretty fun for me. idk maybe because i like playing soulslike games maybe thats why I like this games difficulty alot more than poe 1's everything on the screen just dies in seconds gameplay. thoughts?

Agree, people saying stuff like its dark souls or elden ring of Arpgs but those games were WAY harder for me even on the first boss compared to this. Nearly all the bosses here telegraph attacks big time, not hard to learn the pattern after a death or two?

It's RNG whether you get the gear to pass the dps checks for the most part. People who get the gear or happen to pick a class/spec that works well in a given fight think the difficulty is fine. People who don't end up thinking it's to hard.

Not sure why everyone keeps going in circles acting like they're god's gift to gaming just because they rolled a die and met an invisible number threshold.

I just gambled some gear from the shop in town and got a few upgrades and also use the items that upgrade gear rarity and add suffixes to gear to help me. its really not that hard if you use the game mechanics, people just probably dont use the game mechanics or just save the upgrades for late game thats why they have a harder time.

My thoughts are you're not bright. Every class is different and the game requires an RNG gear mechanic. You're trying to sum up EVERY class and every possibility with one play through.

How do you "gamble" gear. All the gear looks like it's just bad magic gear in the shops

how so? I think 10 is a lot of deaths for just act 1. and thats with buffed bosses because i played coop with 2 other people. tried the last boss again solo after beating it with my friends and it was actually way easier solo because its stats arent buffed. been farming the boss now for a few hours praying for more uniques to drop while waiting for my friends to log back in.

Agreed. I have died on a bunch of bosses 1 time but then after that I level up one more time and get another item or 2 and I destroy the boss on my 2nd try. Its very rewarding to come back and whoop the boss after dying the first time. I don't get the complaints either, the most I have died on a boss is once, come back a little later and get revenge, its so fun.

I think the npc is names finn? I forgot not logged in atm. he has a chance to give gold gear at high chances at least in my case. 3rd and 4th pull usually is a gold.

Way. I only died maybe 3-4 times playing Monk all through Act 1.

I think alot of those complaining are playing the game without learning how to play with the expectations it plays the way they think it should, then failing badly.

"Why I die this sucks D4 so much better game I refund why dev ban me for refund?"

Or better yet

"Why am I forced to play as this gender, why in this year of 2024 does a game come out that doesn't cater to my identity and let me customize at creation, such greedy devs."

It has been entertaining to say the least, now if we could get some moderation to clean out the "free key give away" scams tricking people into giving their points.
