CPU Stress

Hi i have Heavy problems with my CPU its lagging sometimes hard.
When i map,town or something to Load i stuck 5-10 sec in Loading with 100% CPU.
when Loading Finished its still laggs for 10 sec then it worked.

Unplayable...

i7- 6700K / 1080 Nvidia / 32GB Ram

Anyone know to fix this hard CPU Usage + Lags?

You have like.. 8th generations old CPU and you expect to run it flawless on a game that is in extreme early access? GG. Works fine on my 13900k

Might be time to buy a new CPU man. For a game, It has pretty low cpu demands.

Your best bet right now is to wait until they can start shovel out optimisations for the game, but even then I don't think your specs can handle much. That's a really old build you're sitting with. You won't find much info or help here. Try teh internetz. There's always some youtube guide or webpage somewhere.

Minimum required specs specify i7-7700.

Time to upgrade from potato spec.

can you not read? The specs says GTX 960 minimum so yeah a 1080 can handle it although probably mostly on low, but you CPU is below minimum spec

your pc is actually pretty decent these people here are straight up stupid. I think the issue is the early access of the game. its just the nature of such games sadly. With time I am sure youll have a better experience :)

i absolutely believe Valve should see every steam user hardware so it will lock people from posting bugs or performance issues with terrible hardware like op. you are in no place to complain about ANY game when you still using a 4 core ancient cpu lmao

stop the BS. the 6700k is basically 3770k with a slight touch of extra Mhz. op and you should look into the mirror and get a job already.

I got an I7 6900k and had massive issues with CPU being maxed, found that if you turn Shadows from "Shadows + Global Illumination" to just "Shadows" it goes from 80%-90% CPU usage to 20%-30%

Options > Graphics > Detail Settings > Shadows

I know where you're coming from and i respect that here but this is not the time to sugercoat.
OP's pc is rather outdated for that game.
