Is it just me or someone else share the same feeling???

more smart answer like that, no i just play Last Epoch, and yeah, POE2 is effectively a fail incoming.

POE 1 was slow as well, but we all got used to getting tons of +run speed, movement skills etc. I do think the base movement speed could use a bit of an upgrade, but it doesn't seem that bad to me.

Certain builds can move around much faster and that does help with the feeling of slogging. Also helps if you demolish everything in site instantly lol.

My sorc and monk both seem to flow pretty well, killing groups quickly and getting from point to point quite fast. It helps that I have some decent movement buffs on my eq at this point as well.

But yeah, a minor boost to base movement speed wouldn't be a bad thing. New players, or players who have always been able to trade for uniques etc on PoE may find the current setup a bit of a downer.

I was there for the beta and then EA of PoE 1, and it was a slow slog then as well. You had to find your own equipment and especially some starting classes seemed DOG slow (looking back at you maurader!!). Even their attack speeds were so slow ugh.

It's actually not as bad in PoE 2 if my memory is right, either that or I just know tricks and ways to speed things up more.

Ranged helps as well, if you don't have to get up and personal with everything, it moves things along and you are generally progressing in the direction you want to go constantly while killing things. Monk gets by that with naturally moving faster (depending on nodes you take) and abilities that help you move etc.

Anyway doubt they will change it, and doubt it'll be a problem long term as people get more items and especially once trade starts going. Only really was annoyed with the movement speed on my warrior to be honest, and that wasn't TOO bad.

Why is there a roll and no sprint?

Maybe you need to get out of the game for a while, rest, do something else. If you spend more than 2 hours playing anything, it's normal to get bored.

The main problem of this sleepy gameplay and overpowered bosses is that there's absolutely no desire to try these bosses one more time with new characters. I know that there are Soulslike nolife fans who wish to be tormented but I'd better farm somewhere else and not to spend 2 hours on one boss every time to get 1 skill gem and crappy yellow mace. I think this is a huge disadvantage of new POE

I've always played Berserker/Slayer in PoE 1 with sweep, blitz charges, frenzy, blood rage, berserk, with crit and speed bonus on everything.

My experience with Warrior in PoE 2 has been boring and disappointing. I phase out and stand idle looking online for a skill, something, anything I might actually like or be able to use. I've found nothing.

When i found out that Warbringer ascendancy is based on totems and shield buffs i just disengaged. This is not a barbarian, berserker, slayer type warrior.

I may just have to wait in case Marauder returns with axe skills and some actual speed. Not giving up on the game, but currently there's no class that remotely appeals to me.

True, they need to adjust, it's not what we expected, and to be honnest, it's what they promised too.......... we are far away from what was in interviews and do on......

It's slower for sure, but honestly I think some people are just not keeping up with upgrading their weapon. Or they're not prioritising enough damage on the skill tree.

When you get a good weapon you can absolutely blitz through areas and bosses. If you don't or you go too long without finding/buying a replacement, it's much more of a slog.

The lvl 9 tombs are a great place to farm currency orbs from, and some gold.
The treasure zone has two gold chests.
Got a unique from there too.

The boss is not worth pathing towards though, I think they have made the bosses more of a story experience then loot grinds, you can generally melt bosses depending on your build though.

Personally I'm leaning on heavy stun damage + bleed atm so the count boss was really cool to go through since I heard all of his mad ramblings in the mist parts, where as if I chose a magic class and decided to 0.5 seconds kill everything I would of missed it.

It is really boring for those who loves tempo. After few hours you want to sleep. Done for now.

They are probably drip feeding us stuff to better test it, at the moment we are forced to spec into certain combinations.

Might be more of a convenience on their end seeing how things work and then giving us the rest, its early access gameplay test just be patient, balance is subject to change.
